Kentokusan
This is the mountain where Musoukokushi, the founder of Erinji temple (Takeda Shingen’s family temple), did his training. As you climb toward the top, the mountain becomes very rocky and steep, making it very popular among hikers. The view from the top is very spectacular.

Obinayama
Take in the hundreds of wild flowers on the rolling hills near the summit. Obinayama is famous among hikers and flower enthusiasts for its profusion of iris blossoms.

Otome Highlands
Otome Highlands stands at an altitude of 1700 meters, and is filled with many flowers and surrounded by the deep forest. It’s a very romantic place with a profusion of early summer flowers and plants like azaleas blooming one after another until October.
There is a scenic driveway called Crystal Line from Chichibu Mountains to Mt.Yatsugatake.

Odaira Highlands
Odaira Highlands is at the foot of Mt. Kentoku. The view from there is fantastic.

Lake Hirose (Hirose Dam)
Hirose Dam had three purposes: flood control, irrigation, and power. The dam also serves as a recreation park where many people enjoy spending the day.

Lake Otome (Kotogawa Dam)
Kotogawa Dam is the dam at the highest elevation in Japan. Surrounded by the 2000m-high Chichibu Mountain Range, the water of the dam appears mystic and beautiful with its emerald green color. Plans are now underway to include a camping area
