Girls' Tourism Promotion Team
An all-female committee was established on September 3, 2009 in order to promote a style of tourism for Yamanashi City from women’s points of view thus appealing to females.
Our group of 16 civil servants made up of women from a variety of ages and backgrounds were selected based on their outstanding essays on the theme of “If I can think of it, I can do it! - Yamanashi City Promotion”.
Although we have already planned some events for women and adapted the use of tourist spots of the city for female appeal, we encourage your suggestions and opinions to make the best of our skills and interests for the successful promotion of the Girls’ Tourism Team.

My name is Kimberly Fulfs.
I’m the new ambassador representing Sioux City, Iowa as part of the Yamanashi City/Sioux City Sister City relationship.
I am also serving as the ALT for Tekisen Junior High School and Tekisen Elementary School.
I’m very happy to have been selected for this opportunity to come to Yamanashi City and experience life in Japan!
